I use bio oil or vitamin e oil, simply because they are very greasy and tend to also cause more spots to come up (in my expirience). Those marks will go but it takes time, (about 6 months). I havnt tried it yet but i hear oatmeal is a good choice to help cut a couple of months off that time, so try that.

first of all, never use that product again.
Second, use a anti bacterial face wash. Something not too harsh. You can use benzoyl peroxide as a spot treatment. but over use it or you might get resistant to its action. Try avoiding make up when you have sudden break outs, gonna make the acne worse. touch them, I know its hard to but trust me touching does worsen the acne! Use oil free products as oil clogs pores.
For acne scar- I have been using Clinique even better dark spot corrector for the fact 3 months and it has done a miracle for my skin. Its a serum so its highly concentrated and all you have to do is use a little amount. The bottles are not that big, one lasts me 2 months. Im on the second bottle and seen great results!
If you keep having more and more breakouts you should see a skin specialist. I did that and how I solved my acne issue. They will probably give you an antibiotic after observing what kind of acne do you have. Some times its better to treat the problem from the inside.:)
